Create the Culture of Inclusivity

01

Spreading Awareness

Provide awareness training about the lived experience of employees with disabilities and the workplace accommodation process.

03

Research

Research shows that workplace conflict culture, critical self-reflection and uncovering implicit narratives about accommodations can significantly impact the creation of an accessible workplace. Providing training which targets these opportunities will equip managers to meet the demands of the present moment which will contribute to increasing organizational effectiveness.

05

Change Management

During core organizational change (recent political polarization and funding cuts impacting micro-workplace interactions) employees with disabilities are often disproportionately impacted since the consequences of the change are greater for them. Their experiences and challenges are largely unknown during calm times and are exacerbated during chaotic times.

02

Masterclass

Explore a Masterclass on critical self-reflection exercises (such as identifying a formative story and implicit assumptions of workplace accommodations), applied research findings, and systems mapping to identify resources for employees in the accommodation process.

04

Bottom Line

Organizational benefits of using a strategic approach to addressing the challenges outlined include, but are not limited to increased:

  • Work efficacy

  • Job satisfaction

  • Psychological safety

  • Team cohesion

  • Productivity

  • Employee loyalty

  • Resilience, adaptivity, flexibility

06

More Than Ever

Since the pandemic, many more employees recently acquired a disability and are learning how to process it, access support, and live with a new condition. The rapid core organizational shifts, greater number of people with disabilities, and overall lack of awareness of the lived experience of employees with disabilities highlights the need for training specific to disability and the accommodation process.

I feel like I understand a whole new perspective than I've ever considered before.
